Disney Pixar’s Coco is such a great celebration of family and Mexican culture as it relates to Dia de los Muertos! To celebrate, we’ve brought you a list of 10+ Coco-inspired crafts and recipes you can create at home!

Now- you might be wondering why I am celebrating the movie Coco on this blog- since we are a Costa Rica-focused blog, right?

The answer is that as Costa Rican-American bilingual parents living in the United States, we think it’s super important to reinforce all Latino culture in the US when we can.

The Spanish translation of Coco is phenomenal, which means we can keep our goal of prioritizing Spanish language television as much as possible.

Plus- Day of the Dead and Halloween are fun, and even though Costa Rican Halloween traditions are different, it’s important for kids to learn about traditions from all over Latin America.
