The Boston Market Thanksgiving Home Delivery makes sure us busy moms have a complete delicious Thanksgiving meal delivered to our homes. All you have to do is heat and serve- the dinner is ready in two to three hours. That’s a Thanksgiving win!
I feel like this year that pandemic has made me less tolerant of cooking huge mails, and part of that is planning ahead for Thanksgiving.
Plus, I am a Costa Rican-American mom raising bilingual kids and we don’t really celebrate Thanksgiving in Costa Rica. Christmas in Costa Rica is a much bigger deal- we start preparing for it after September 15 Independence Day!
A few years ago I decided to do the whole Thanksgiving meal myself, and it was sort of a pain. I remember ordering a huge turkey and realizing it had to thaw for a week. A whole week. I don’t have refrigerator space for that!
But what if the whole meal could be defrosted in just a few hours? That’s what happens with the Boston Market Thanksgiving meal- and in this post I’m going to do a full Boston Market thanksgiving dinner review.
Boston Market Thanksgiving Review – How It Works
Basically, you order a full Thanksgiving meal from Boston Market and they deliver it right to your doorstep completely frozen. You can also pick up the meal at a Boston Market restaurant the week of Thanksgiving.
You then need between 24-48 hours to defrost everything. Then, some parts of the meal need to be heated up, but I found they could all be heated almost in the same oven and at the same temperature once the fully cooked turkey was done. (More on that below).

So let’s talk turkey. We all know he’s the star of the show, and so if the turkey is off, it doesn’t really even matter if the sides are any good.
The turkey is pre-cooked, which means you just defrost and heat- and if you can tell by these photos, you get a gorgeous brown breast without even trying. Instagram worthy! You can also get just a roasted turkey breast if you don’t want to deal with a whole turkey.
I’ve done some research, and other Boston Market whole turkey reviews agree with me.
Boston Market thanksgiving Meal Review- Sides
So the sides might be the best part of the meal! From the cranberry walnut relish to the mashed potatoes and gravy to the home-style stuffing, there is something for everyone. All of the sides are also precooked and the meal includes at least eight sides in addition to the turkey.

Here’s a quick video of all of the fun stuff included in the box, and the thanksgiving tablescape I created to go with the meal.
It was super fun to decorate because I wasn’t worried about the food and all the recipes. I could just play with the decorations and place settings, which I enjoy more than cooking the meal.

Thanksgiving Meal Cost
Here’s what I loved about the Boston Market Boston Market Thanksgiving Home Delivery Complete Thanksgiving Meal: the whole roasted turkey was precooked- all I had to do was put it in the pan and reheat it!
Plus- guess what? It only cost $119! That’s only about $12.50 a person and there were leftovers!
Everything came frozen, so I just defrosted it in my fridge for about 48 hours before I heated everything up and served it. The whole process after defrosting only took about 2.5 hours.

And the meal was delicious! I especially loved the spinach artichoke dip, and my kids went crazy over the pumpkin pie and dinner rolls. My husband loved the mashed potatoes, and the leftovers reheated really well. I’d order it again for sure- just make sure you order before November 18th.
